I first started my hobby of miniatures/dollhouses when my daughter was two. Let's see... That would make it 1974/1975. So long ago. There were only a few miniature magazines way back then. Actually, the first magazine I remember was a craft magazine that had a nice section for miniatures.

There were some really great magazines between then and now. It's amazing to see how these magazines have changed over the years. Some dollhouse/miniature magazines have fallen by the wayside. Some have changed names. Several new magazines have also come on the mini scene.

The newer magazines sometimes have better ways to create what was created in the past. Still, it is enjoyable to look through the older issues and get ideas for present day projects.

I have aquired some magazines from a local dollhouse shop. The owner had gottentold me them in sereal estate sale deals. Others I bought on eBay. The last and biggest lot came from another miniature shop. The owner gave me what she had stored. Talk about being in Dollhouse heaven!!! Now, I have to organzie them to make it easier to find help with projects I am currently working on.
