I got the ideas for making table top water fountains from Ernesto on Custom Dolls, Houses, and Miniatures website. They were fun to do and I thought I would make some for my sales table at our State Day for Miniatures in Durham, NC.

Here are the miniature peaches I made for my table for State Day on April 10. Yes, they are covered in a tiny fuzz.

I have been working on plants for my sales table at our upcoming State Day. In most cases, the flowers and leaves were punched out of silk linen paper that I painted in the appropriate colors. This is a small selection of what I have made to date. I am working on additional tulips and adding ivy to more of the planters. Below, I have added some of the individual plants and arrangements. These will eventually be for sale on my website.

After pouring, cleaning, firing the greenware, and glazing, I used china paints to stain the figurines so they would look like ivory.

So, the idea came for making a bait and tackle shack such as would be found on a small pier in the waterway.
